I had the privilege of speaking on Ovarian Cyst at ICGC Kingdom Temple during their Women's Ministry Week Celebration. Ovarian cysts are silent guardians of reproductive health that often go unnoticed. These fluid-filled sacs are more than just medical terminology—they're a natural part of a woman's biological journey. Key Insights: 📌 Nearly 10 out of 100 women experience ovarian cysts 📌 Most cysts are benign and resolve spontaneously 📌 Typically small (1-3 centimeters), resembling the size of a cherry Treatment Approaches: 📌 Watchful Waiting 🔸 Most functional cysts disappear within 8-12 weeks 🔸 Regular ultrasound monitoring recommended 📌 Medical Management 🔸 Certain contraceptive medications can prevent new cyst formation 🔸 Hormonal regulation to minimize recurrence 📌 Surgical Intervention 🔸 Laparoscopy for complex or persistent cysts 🔸 Recommended in rare cases of: 🔻 Large, painful cysts 🔻 Potential cancer risk 🔻 Ovarian torsion Regular gynecological check-ups are crucial for early detection and understanding your reproductive health. Knowledge is power, and understanding your body is the first step to empowerment. #WomensHealth #ReproductiveWellness #MedicalAwareness #OvarianCyst
