Recovering Physician / Pioneering physician burnout and suicide prevention at physiciansanonymous.org

Here at Physicians Anonymous, we always ask our physician-only peer-support group facilitators to "Make sure your coffee cup is full enough to pour out for others". The same applies to clinical care. The evidence is compelling. There is a human, ethical, and economic case for investing in clinician mental health. A forward-thinking system would be rewarding physicians for seeking mental health support, not creating barriers. Good work, Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes' Foundation in helping reduce those barriers for all of us!
