JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR OFFICE MANAGER/PARALEGAL IN DALLAS OFFICE Role: Office Manager / Paralegal Firm: Dowd Bennett Contact: Ben Barnes (bbarnes@dowdbennett.com)   Dowd Bennett seeks a litigation paralegal to join its Dallas office.  The paralegal will assist attorneys in case management and serve as the Dallas office manager.   Responsibilities:   Manage Document Production Processes ·      Assist with collection and production of documents from client, opposing parties, and third parties. ·      Prepare privilege logs. ·      Manage logistics of document production. Case Filings and Case Management ·      Oversee and maintain litigation case files and calendar case deadlines. ·      Draft routine court filings, written discovery, written discovery responses, and routine correspondence, and manage service of process. ·      Check legal citations for proper format, content, and accuracy. ·      Compile appendices and exhibits and prepare briefs and motions for filing. ·      Attend trials and hearings, as necessary. Administrative ·      Coordinate deposition and office schedule. ·      Assist with attorney time entry. ·      Assist with attorney travel arrangements and expense reimbursements. ·      Answer attorney telephones. ·      Organize office supplies and order replacements. ·      Greet office visitors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate. 5+ years’ experience as litigation paralegal. Experience filing documents in Texas state and federal courts. Ability to prioritize different tasks without direct supervision. Comfortable in small, unstructured firm environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Trial Director, and Relativity.
