It is with profound sadness that we grieve the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Laurie Paetz. Laurie was a cherished member of our Calgary office, serving as an Event Director for one of the team’s new launch events, CEPCA. With 25 years in the industry, Laurie was truly a remarkable person – kind, generous, and full of light. Her warmth and spirit touched countless lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with Laurie’s family and loved ones. We feel fortunate to have had her as part of the dmg events team. In honour of Laurie’s legacy, we have made a donation to her chosen charity, The Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. If you would like to donate in Laurie’s memory the link is www.bloodcancers.ca Our thoughts are with her colleagues, friends and family during this difficult time.
Sincere condolences to Laurie’s family and the dmg events team. May she rest in peace."

1dLosing an office colleague can hit unexpectedly hard it’s not just about work; it’s about someone you saw every day, shared jokes with, leaned on during stressful times. It leaves a real gap. Whether it was sudden or expected, grief in the workplace can feel weird like you’re supposed to just keep going, but inside, it hurts or feels strange without them there. It leaves a real gap.
