Film Grain Synthesis To keep the “Film Look” over the whole distribution chain, we still need a lot of effort to make it happen. We have to optimize the “Filmmakermode” for TV sets, which have to reflect the new possibilities. Addationally, Film Grain Synthesis also can be used in a wrong way and can lead to a drop of video resolution but now we can save bitrate and money while the cinematic look will enter the living room. We are currently looking for short, max. 40-second 35mm film sequences shot on various celluloid film stocks. dpx and tiff sequences but also intermediate formats are welcome. For cinematographers and filmmakers worldwide, this breakthrough means retaining the authenticity and texture of their visual narratives, even through the complexities of digital distribution. It empowers them to maintain creative control and deliver their artistic vision with unparalleled precision and fidelity, that will be resonating profoundly with audiences everywhere.
