Cracks under control 👀: How we use optical fibers to protect Senvion turbines Detecting hairline cracks in blade bearings before they turn into costly failures - that’s the promise of BBG+, our innovative monitoring system. Using robust polymer optical fibers, invisible risks become measurable data. ERNEUERBARE ENERGIEN talked to our colleagues Martin Lassen and Silvio Matysik about how to extend the lifespan of Senvion with this technology.
