~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On November 27th, we gathered at our studio to explore how we might transition from awareness to action in women's healthcare. At the event, we examined how we can transform women's health from a niche topic into a fundamental part of medicine, and leverage a gendered lens to benefit healthcare at large. Together with our brilliant guest speakers - Shelly Bloch, Prof. Tamar Safra, Michal Zeevi , Nimrod Lev, Dr. Ilana Kwartin and Michal Shalem - we delved into the challenges of bridging the gender gaps in healthcare, discussed technologies reshaping the field, and explored opportunities and strategies for transforming women's health. We thank our guest speakers and the participants for attending, and hope to meet you again at our next event! FemTech Israel - Technology & Innovation for Women Levana.ai impact.51 GynTools

Addressing the significant unmet health needs of women remains a social and economic imperative. Earlier this week at #JPM2025, I joined Elizabeth Comen, MD, Reshema Kemps-Polanco, and Jannine Versi on a panel to discuss the innovations, ecosystem, and collective action needed to advance the health of women. Thank you to Lucy Perez and Anne Conlin Koffel for giving us another platform to highlight how Organon is playing a convening role in filling the long-standing gaps in women’s health innovation. By working across the ecosystem, we can all bring forward options that treat conditions impacting women uniquely, differently, or disproportionately. #hereforherhealth

Dear world, For many of us, #womenshealth has been our focus, our career, our passion, our research, our drive. For those now joining the movement, whether in industry, academia, advocacy or other, WELCOME ❗ We are so glad to have you joining the team to improve (dare I say 😀 TRANSFORM) women's health. But, a request ➡ when you are thinking about that product, or that biomarker, or that device or that study or that panel or that meeting--make sure you include those who actually provide care of women & who have done women's health science as part of those discussions/groups. I promise--it will make it all better. Importantly, it is more likely to actually improve the health of women if you do.

May is Women's Health Month, and we're excited about the strides being made toward prioritizing and innovating in the women's health space. Developments in the US include the launch of The White House Initiative on Women's Health Research and The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Sprint for Women's Health. This initiative presents a significant funding opportunity of $100 million, signaling a substantial investment in women's health research. In the UK, The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) launched a £50 million ‘Challenge’ funding call to address inequalities in maternity disparities, aligning with the UK government's Women's Health Strategy. This move to tackle inequalities and focus on under-researched women's health issues is a meaningful step forward. Moreover, a recent McKinsey report highlights the potential of women's health investments to boost the global economy by $1 trillion annually by 2040. This underscores the vast opportunities in women's health, not just for improving health outcomes but also for economic growth. Let's continue to push for more investments in women's health, fostering health equity and inclusivity along the way.
