What attracts employees to your organization is not what keeps employees at your organization. Too often, companies are looking to their Talent Acquisition and Benefits teams to solve retention issues. While great pay, competitive benefits and appealing amenities will attract top talent to your organization, failing to evaluate the employee experience - and in particular, the manager/employee dynamic - will continue to see top performers walk out the door. Let's shout out those great leaders you've had who set clear goals, communicate clearly, build trust, hold themselves and their team accountable, regularly recognize the performance of team members (and of the team!), and who advocate for the development of their employees.
