Ushering Digital Transformational Leaders & Consulting Svcs providing clarity in areas of Business Coaching, Risk Mgmt, AI, Cyber Sales, Storytelling, and Mindfulness Burnout Training. Building Resillient Warriors
Attn: World Class Companies.
This is a call out to help us Latin communities.
For now I’d like to attend this event to inspire folks, but even I’ve been asking for help too.
I’m the daughter of a Army Veteran
I come from a fully disabled family.
I’m disabled myself.
(Though I don’t like to admit it).
I can build applications.
I can transfer Cyber knowledge.
I need funds to do a little more, so if anyone would like CyberAdvisory, AI, Mental Health Services from me, let me know
I don’t like to put blockers in front of myself.
When others have limited beliefs of me or theirselves, is troublesome to me.
That’s why I’m here.
I sometimes have to ask for help, though society will tell me to be the butterfly to serve myself.
That’s NOT how you support a disabled person.
This butterfly can figure a lot of things.
There are many butterflies in front of you now.
I’m trying to hold up a disabled family, and myself too.
You probably noticed my vibrations are down.
It was a difficult week and sometimes I have to prevent my own burnout, by pacing myself, and taking care of myself.
So when you Marketing, Executives and Coaches can respond, I might just give you some free mental coaching too.
Understand I’m also trying to shine a light on you too, but when you worry about your competitive edge, it’s not so great for progress.
I can do more, when you open yourselves up to more.
If life is out of sorts, and Caregivers are continually falling out on us, we have to interview new ones, it takes our time.
Wasting time, is something Caregivers tire of too.
I’ve got ideas for you to do things better.
I see a lot of people burning out.
Stop and take care of yourself, please.
There’s no way around it.
I pushed myself, then had a flare up and had to check myself back into red light therapy, where it heals my cells from the inside, then vibrational ultrasound, high powered stem treatment. Often times it just connective tissue issues.
If someone needs help mentally or physically, please reach out.
There’s a mindset that I hold to counter this.
There are some physical things that breathing won’t do for me.
I want to educate people differently.
1) I take care of myself.
For all those companies that say they support the disabled. Let’s see it.
Cause it’s going to help my Executives, future CISOs, and everyone else up the chain.
2) Once I feel better, I get back on the horse.
I’m still stacking my skills, with an open mind trying to get others to ditch their limited beliefs in Cyber, and at least encourage folks to find their purpose.
It’s hard to run a business as a disabled person, but I’m here, asking for people to keep sharing their wisdoms, as I try to reach my goals too.
I hope I’m inspiring you now, to open yourself up to more.
I believe in myself, that I can add value, though others might be slow to see my value.
Action:
Read a book today please.
Take the mental health day that you require.

"In Paris, I'm seen as African. In London, I'm Black British. In Amsterdam, I'm a global professional. But everywhere, I'm a leader first." - Marcus, Tech Director
This powerful insight from one of our Black Professionals Europe members captures our unique journey. As Black professionals navigating multiple European markets, our DEI conversation isn't just about representation – it's about recognizing our multi-layered identities and cross-cultural strengths.
💫 Our Reality in 2024:
• We're not just diverse - we're international change-makers
• Our multilingual abilities aren't just skills - they're bridges
• Our multicultural experiences aren't challenges - they're superpowers
Let's continue to break down barriers, celebrate our achievements, and inspire the next generation of Black professionals in Europe.
Let's build a community where we can support each other, create opportunities, and make real progress together.🫱https://lnkd.in/d5hQR5CT#BlackExcellenceEurope#EuropeanDEI#BlackProfessionalsEurope#GlobalLeadership#InclusiveWorkplace#EuropeanBusiness#MultilingualLeaders
Latinos, it's our turn to own the stage
Mi gente, let's talk about visibility
Today, I attended the 21st Annual Latinas & Power Corp Symposium
And Tricia Montalvo Timm's keynote address left a lasting impression.
Her powerful message resonated deeply
"We often think we can't be what we can't see."
As a Latina public speaker myself
I know the importance of representation.
For too long, I haven't seen enough faces and voices on those stages that reflect my own background.
It can make it harder to envision yourself owning the room and sharing your voice.
But Tricia's words are a call to action.
"It's our turn to be seen"
Latinas and Latinos alike.
We need to showcase the strength and diversity of our community
Every single day.
We need to be those role models
Inspiring the next generation to believe in themselves.
Tricia's message sparked a fire in me.
We have her book, "Embrace the Power of You," at our CMG UC Berkeley office at the Haas School of Business.
MBA students were grabbing those copies faster than you can say "Latina excellence"
The high demand got me thinking
I needed my own copy to dive deeper into Tricia's message.
And guess what?
Right after the speech, the universe delivered.
An MBA student returned our library copy.
So I can start delving into the tools that Tricia lays out to empower our community.
This is our moment, mi gente
Let's support Latina authors like Tricia.
But most importantly, let's step onto those stages
Own our voices
And show the world our brilliance.
Somos magia mi gente
Let's light up those stages
One poderosa Latina or Latino at a time.

The meeting room felt silent. Not because he lacked the right answers, but because he was often the only one who looked like him in the room.
Sound familiar?
This scene plays out daily in Europe's corporate spaces. But here's what's changing:
Today's lonely moments are tomorrow's leadership stories.
Today's challenges are tomorrow's expertise.
Today's persistence is tomorrow's legacy.
Today we celebrate every Black professional who:
• Turns obstacles into opportunities
• Transforms representation into reality
• Makes "the first" become "one of many"
But what if every journey had a roadmap?
What if every pioneer had a community?

💡 A Powerful Observation: Why Community and Confidence Matter 💡
During my recent LinkedIn Live, one theme stood out from the comments and conversations with Black professionals: the struggle with confidence and the need for encouragement and community support.
It was a reminder of the unique challenges we face in our personal and professional journeys—and the vital importance of spaces that uplift, mentor, and empower us.
This is why I’m more convinced than ever that Crown & Quill Collective is not just a community; it’s a movement. A space where:
🌟 Growth mindsets are cultivated.
🌟 Confidence is built through mentorship and shared experiences.
🌟 Support systems thrive, helping us all achieve our fullest potential.
But I can’t do it alone. I’m calling on Black professional leaders here on LinkedIn, who are passionate about mentorship, mindset growth, and creating opportunities for others to join this movement.
Together, we can provide the encouragement and resources that Black professionals need to show up boldly, thrive in their careers, and leave a legacy of excellence.
💬 Are you ready to lead, support, and inspire the next generation of confident Black professionals? Let’s connect and make it happen.

Happy Juneteenth!
It's a day that means a lot to my family, not only as a holiday but as a reminder of how far we've come and how much further we have to go.
As someone who works with leaders every day, Juneteenth is a powerful reminder that true leadership involves understanding and honoring everyone's experiences, especially those who have historically faced injustice.
Today, let's all take a moment to:
✅ Learn something new: Read up on Juneteenth's history and its significance for the African American community.
✅ Start a conversation: Let's talk openly and honestly about race, equity, and our challenges.
✅ Listen to Black voices: Seek out and share the stories, contributions, and perspectives of Black leaders, creators, and thinkers.
✅ Take action: Whether it's in our workplaces, communities, or personal lives, let's ask ourselves what we can do to make a real difference.
Juneteenth celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.
Let's embrace it as a day to deepen our understanding, broaden our perspectives, and renew our commitment to creating a more inclusive world for everyone.
How are you celebrating Juneteenth?

I love that B-Direct is addressing cultural dexterity, Henri Ward! Cultural dexterity is the missing puzzle piece for truly globalized boards. It's not just about ticking diversity boxes; it's about creating an environment where every voice is heard and valued.
I know that B-Direct is also focused on building trust and psychological safety. Board members need to feel comfortable speaking up, challenging assumptions, and offering diverse perspectives.
Your investment in board candidate's cultural competency training is crucial. Equipping board members with the skills to navigate cultural differences is key.
Since B-Direct is actively seeking out diverse candidates with global experience you look beyond traditional pipelines and tap into the wealth of talent around the world.
By fostering cultural dexterity alongside these actions, U.S. Black executives, African companies, and all global leaders can unlock the true potential of diverse boards. This will be instrumental in tackling the complex challenges of our interconnected world.
Great work B-Direct Larry Yon, II, Andrá R. Ward, MSPOD#culturaldexterity#diversityandinclusion#globalleadership
Cultural dexterity is the critical compass needed for navigating global corporate boards. It's not just about tolerance; it's embracing, understanding, and leveraging diverse perspectives.
In a world where collaboration knows no borders, cultural dexterity empowers U.S. Black executives and entrepreneurs as well as African based companies to bridge historic gaps, foster innovation, and ultimately build strong corporate boards focused on meeting today's global challenges. It's the key to unlocking success in an interconnected world.

“It’s hard to find Black candidates for Executive #healthcare roles”, a recruiter once said to me. My reply: “It’s not. You just aren’t looking…”
Nearly 90% of CEOs in the health care industry identify as white, despite 4 out of 10 Americans identifying with a race or ethnic group other than white.
But today I had the esteemed honor and pleasure of being in a room FULL of Black innovators, leaders, and trailblazers in healthcare at BlackDoctor.org’s Thought Leadership Summit. Our morning panel discussion on community relationships and #healthequity left me with a few essential takeaways:
✨Community outreach isn’t community engagement. Outreach is transactional, engagement is long-term and bidirectional. Be clear on which one your org is doing.
✨Communities are not monolithic; this includes the Black community. What works for one segment, won’t necessarily work for others. We have to be prepared to meet people where they are.
✨Community isn’t simply defined by ‘institutional partners’. If you’re not connecting with communities on a grassroots level, you’re not really doing community engagement.
Shoutout to my fellow panelists & moderator: Ricki Fairley / Michael Curry, Esq./ Jacqueline Ingram, MBA / Terri Jackson
P.s.- Black healthcare, public health, biotech, or pharma leaders aren’t hard to find. Much like community engagement, it takes intentional connection and authenticity. It’s only hard to find what you don’t want to see.
