In top 25 #MBA programs, military veterans typically comprise approximately 5% to 10% of each cohort. Business schools actively seek to enroll veterans due to the unique perspectives and leadership skills they bring to the classroom. Among military students in top MBA programs, a smaller portion comes from the enlisted side, as officer candidates more commonly pursue graduate business education. Roughly 20-30% of veteran MBA students are estimated to come from the enlisted ranks, though exact numbers can vary by program. As a USMC Sgt, that gives me a 1% to 3% odds.... Luckily, a wise old man once told me, “Marines don’t worry about odds, we create our own. " Who am I not to listen? #veterans #mba #businessschool

Respecting the Chair and the Leadership it Represents Recently, I held a couple of meetings in a conference room that wasn't mine. In my first meeting, some attendees asked why I wasn’t sitting at the head of the table since it was my meeting. My response was simple: it wasn’t my chair. It was the commander’s chair. To me, certain chairs hold significant meaning. The commander’s chair, the Chief’s chair, the First Sergeant’s chair, and the Senior Civilian’s chair each represent leadership, responsibility, and the dedication of the individuals who occupy them. I believe in respecting these symbols of authority and the chain of command they represent. I am here to support the men and women who sit in those chairs, as well as the Airmen and Guardians who follow their lead. By honoring these positions, we acknowledge the hard work, commitment, and sacrifice of our leaders and reinforce the values that make our military strong. Remember, it’s not just about where we sit, but how we respect and support those who lead us. Space Loggie out! #Leadership #Followership #LeadBoldly #Space #logistics
