As a food enthusiast, I've come to appreciate the art of serving truly. It's a genuine, honest endeavor—one that's refreshingly straightforward. When it comes down to it, people either enjoy the food and the service—or they don't. There's no room for excuses. We're here to serve, plain and simple. Our performance is clear-cut: either we excel at it, or we fall short. The instant gratification nature of dining means that our service and food are inseparable. Unlike in other industries where a subpar service can sometimes be overlooked if the product is exceptional, they're intertwined in the realm of food—they come in the same package. It's a constant challenge but also an opportunity for us to shine. We're acutely aware that every interaction, every dish served, is a chance to make a lasting impression. Unlike a product that can "compensate" for less-than-stellar service over time, food is consumed immediately, leaving no room for delay or redemption. I always try to embrace this reality wholeheartedly. Believing in the ethos of delivering exceptional food and impeccable service, knowing that they are intrinsically linked, I myself venture out to serve some smiles. Occasionally, but enthusiastically. #serving #inspiring #zaitoon

You wouldn't keep eating at a restaurant that doesn't have food you like. Apply that same logic to the companies at which you work. 🍽 Does the culture still reflect your personal values? 🍽 Are you recognized for the value you bring? 🍽 Is there a seat for you at the table? There are a lot of choices out there. You don't have to keep sitting there waiting, filling up on water, while the waiter ignores you and your hunger for something more. FEED YOUR SOUL. 🤎 Get up and go get what fuels you. No better time like the present to try something new. #employerbranding #employerbrand #selfcare #newyearnewyou #knowyourworth #newyear #newyear2025

Make Tipping Earned Again: Why Terrible Service Equals No Tip Tipping has long been a cornerstone of dining culture, but it's time we address an uncomfortable truth: tips are meant to be earned, not automatic. While we sympathize with the challenges of service work, customers are not obligated to reward poor or dismissive service. When diners choose to tip generously, it's often a reflection of attentive care, professionalism, and effort. On the flip side, when servers neglect their tables, display a bad attitude, or fail to meet basic expectations, withholding a tip becomes a justified response. It's not about punishing; it's about accountability. Imagine being ignored for half your meal, dealing with incorrect orders, or feeling like your presence is a burden. Should customers feel guilty for withholding extra cash in those situations? The answer is no. A tip is not a guarantee—it's a reward for value provided. This isn’t to advocate for rudeness toward staff. Customers should always treat servers with respect and kindness. But let’s be real: great service deserves recognition, and bad service has consequences. Tipping is a privilege—not a right—and when it’s done right, everyone wins. So next time you're out, tip generously for great service. But if the experience leaves you frustrated and ignored, remember: tipping is earned, not automatic. This #quote truly resonates with me. It perfectly captures the essence of both #cheflife and navigating life. Being in charge of kitchen, like life, involves following a recipe while also embracing experimentation. We might need to adjust the ingredients based on what we have or add a surprising touch. Ultimately, the key is to enjoy the process, learn from our mistakes, and appreciate the final product, regardless of its exact form. #LifeLessons #MotivationMonday #Inspiration #FoodForThought #AlwaysLearning #ChefLife #CookingLife #RestaurantLife #FromFarmToTable #CulinaryCreations
