My criteria for attending events have remained the same for years: 1. Learn one new idea/thought that changes the way I think/feel about something. 2. Christy Cook (she/her) and I are working on a session that will provide participants of ASQ - World Headquarters' Quality Impact Forum: Sustainability with the opportunity for all three! #sustainability #quality #business

There is no way out I think there is - let me explain 💫 What happens when you do your dishes? What about the detergents that make it so easy to clean your plates? They go down the drain… You can expect that the wastewater treatment plants have some filters and that some bacteria break down the biodegradable components… But what fraction ends up in our oceans? There is no final answer. That is the painful part about sustainability. Something that people who do not care about the environment cannot understand. They wait for the perfect answer without realizing there is no perfect answer. There is no silver bullet, no ultimate solution yet. Therefore, we need to explore the pragmatic solutions available right now. This requires courage. The courage to make mistakes. The courage to move forward despite all the noise. All the criticism, and doubt. Still, we have it. You have it! And for all who have read this far, there is a shortcut in the comments <3

🌱🌍 Sustainability in the spotlight! An inspiring panel discussion with ESG experts from various organisations. On the transition to more circularity in the agrifood sector to reduce emissions. On the role and importance of technical innovations in this. But also on cooperation between companies, governments and NGOs to achieve our ESG goals. And on how to deal with partners who are not (yet) ready for this transition? Sanne Griffioen-Roose (FrieslandCampina), Wendy Jacobs (she/her) (Tate & Lyle), Christoph Rathmann (Bunge), Sebastien Richard (Albert Heijn) and Robert van den Breemer (Nutreco) discussed this with ForFarmers' leadership team. One of the conclusions? Find the connection and stay engaged within the chain for a more sustainable future! 💚👥 #inspiration #sharingknowledge #ESG #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #Collaboration #FortheFutureofFarming 🌿
