How Did We Build The World’s Greatest Cruise Booking Platform? We had to juice a few Violets and dump a few Verucas. . . The Wonkas of Cruise Booking Testing is the real answer, we do lots of testing. Like Willy we know that testing is the best way to make a product that works for the end user. We don’t have a chocolate factory tour on offer but our cruise booking tool tour is on offer and has way less calories. Will you help us? Also, we are powered by caffeine and pet snuggles, not little orange people. No Oompa Loompas were hurt in the making of CruiseAlly. This Is Your Golden Ticket We’ve experienced the pain points of booking cruises and have successfully built CruiseAlly to address them. BUT WE NEED YOU! We need your experiences and want to know if we built a user friendly and valuable cruise booking platform. Whether you are new to cruising or have an elite status on every line we could use your feedback. Can you try our process and share your experience with us? This is your golden ticket! Please fill out this form to volunteer to test our newest releases. VOLUNTEER TESTER FORM: https://lnkd.in/eKZ9GxYa Thank You Current Testers Thank you to all of our existing family, friends and converts for allowing us to run countless versions past your eyes on “all of the screens”. We couldn't have gotten this far without you. Now, will you kindly evangelize for us and share this with everyone you know? You will not be rewarded with Fizzy Lifting drinks and everlasting gobstoppers. We can make good on exactly one of those things. It’s not the Fizzy Lifting drink. 60 Years, 60 Flights, 60 Yawns! It’s Not the Years, It’s the Experiences You Gather! Picture this: Raj has been hopping on a plane once a year for the last 60 years - yep, 60 flights! Now meet Rahul, a 20-year-old who’s been jet-setting for the last 2 months, clocking in 2 flights a day. That’s 120 flights in just 60 days! According to conventional wisdom, you might think Raj, with his 60 years of flight experience, is the one with more experience. But hang on - think again! Rahul’s rapid-fire journey shows that it’s not just about the number of years but the number of experiences! So, who’s the real “frequent flyer” here? In today’s fast-paced world, the ability to learn quickly and adapt is more valuable than ever. The number of stamps on your passport (or projects on your resume) can teach you more than the number of years you’ve been at it. It’s about diving into new experiences, embracing change, and learning something new every day - because let’s face it, even Raj would be impressed by Rahul’s sky-high experience level! Next time you’re measuring experience, think beyond the years and count the experiences. After all, life’s too short for only one flight a year! So, what’s your next flight plan? Because one thing’s for sure - Raj better buckle up, or Rahul’s going to be the new captain of Experience Airlines! 🚀

Last week, the Carnival Spirit, a cruise ship operated by Carnival, collided with a sizable chunk of ice while cruising through Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska. Despite this unexpected encounter, there were no injuries reported, and the ship emerged without any damage. According to a Carnival Cruise Line spokesperson, the ship struck "a rogue piece of drifting ice" while traversing the stunning waters south of Juneau, known for their breathtaking views and floating icebergs. Following the incident, the Carnival Spirit paused for several hours to inspect the ship and confirm that the hull was intact before resuming its voyage. The ship successfully completed its seven-day Alaskan cruise without any further issues and returned to Seattle on Tuesday. It is scheduled to start a new 14-day round-trip voyage to Alaska shortly. Marine experts indicate that while navigating Alaska’s waters can be challenging due to strong winds, currents, and ice, such collisions are relatively rare. A marine pilot from southeast Alaska noted that while ice can potentially damage a ship’s hull or propellers, such occurrences are uncommon. A cruise industry analyst pointed out that modern cruise ships are engineered to handle diverse conditions, including icy waters, and that experienced captains are well-acquainted with navigating these regions. This incident bears some similarity to a 2022 event involving the Norwegian Sun, which also collided with an iceberg in Alaskan waters, causing damage to the starboard bow but resulting in no injuries. As Alaska continues to attract cruise travelers, there are growing concerns among locals about increasing congestion in the region’s waterways. https://lnkd.in/dxNnvR85
