Today, the El Paso Chamber released a critical comparative study on sports entertainment venues, crafted in partnership with CAA Icon Strategic Advisory. This comprehensive analysis reveals that El Paso is significantly underfunded compared to similar markets, ranking 33rd out of 35 in investments since 1990. There are far more statistics like this one in the full study that illustrate the untapped potential of El Paso’s sports and entertainment venues. As we plan for the future, it's essential that we consider these findings to guide our decisions and ensure that our sports and entertainment facilities can truly meet the needs of our community and bolster our economy. Really great insights provided by the El Paso Chamber. The lack of investments in the infrastructure and long-overdue upgrades of #EPSportsEntertainmentVenues is glaring. Hopefully this factual-based data will help to educate more about the need to pursue & approve funding now. Let's take the personal feelings, egos, and biases out of it and focus on the facts here. We have neglected these venues & it has impacted our ability to attract #entertainment, while also impacting our ability to generate revenue (we're talking millions lost). "This comprehensive analysis reveals that #ElPaso is significantly underfunded compared to similar markets, ranking 33rd out of 35 in investments since 1990." As a proud 3rd generation El Pasoan I've heard for years, "Why don't we have more entertainment options?" and "Why do the big #concerts not stop here (even though we know they're driving through on I10)?". We have the opportunity to speak with leaders from The City of El Paso Texas and El Paso County and collectively push for changes to be made. Our city deserves better, and changes are needed. Voting season is just around the corner! Seregh is a new firm that will focus on partnering with venue owners to develop real estate projects Over the next 15 years, Seregh is seeking to work on projects worth a combined $100 billion across the globe. Team owners and venue owners know there’s an opportunity to monetize real estate around venues but are often ill-equipped to do so,” Fascitelli said. Seregh plans to work with men’s and women’s teams, with a focus on those competing in professional basketball, football, hockey, baseball and soccer leagues. By Jonathan Fascitelli’s count, more than 30 US teams are currently weighing renovation, relocation or new-build options. That figure doesn’t include new practice facilities or purpose-built arenas that may be dedicated to women’s sports or collegiate sports, he said. The firm sees an opportunity to develop $1 billion to $3 billion of mixed-use properties located near venues, with a focus on experiential retail, residential, office and hotel real estate. ————— The sports industry is constantly evolving and the focus of this firm to tackle the real estate side of sports is 💪🏾. The conversation around the Browns stadium is evidence of this and the important role of real estate moving forward across the sports landscape. #NhkxThoughts #sports #realestatedevelopment
