🦶 Do you ever step on the silence? 🤐 At times when coaching, I'm still struck with the urge to 'fix it' for my client. In those moments of quiet, where clients are contemplating, I remind myself to resist the 'righting reflex' and to hold the silence. 💡 After all, it's in those moments where people will often find their 'Ah Ha' moments and where insight and clarity can emerge. 🤫 Perhaps a useful reminder for leaders that when we're engaged in coaching conversations - formal or informal - let's not step on the silence. Rather, listen until we hear more.
