Recently Dana Denis-Smith interviewed Sharon Kahanov of Siemens to talk about Inclusive Leadership as part of our Take the Stand Series. ❓ A great session in which Sharon exhorts us all to ask questions rather than just settling with what we have achieved up to that point. What can I do better? How can I help further? What else needs to improve? ❓ Even the 'wrong' questions will start a conversation. https://hubs.ly/Q02G8QCy0 #leadership #inclusivity #lawyers #inclusivityinlaw

One of the TED Talks I encourage the leaders I work with to watch is Drew Dudley's Everyday Leadership. https://lnkd.in/gu2C_NAY His message is simple yet profound: leadership isn’t about grand achievements or titles—it’s about the small, impactful moments we create every day. Drew talks about the "lollipop moment"—a seemingly ordinary act that profoundly impacts someone else's life. Even more remarkable is how often we don't realize the difference we've made. It made me reflect on one of my own lollipop moments. Rod Power, a leader I deeply respect, once told me something that has stayed with me ever since. After a long day running one of the days at the 'International Account Director Boot Camp'—an event I was leading the year after him—he said I reminded him of Roger Federer, someone who makes the challenging look effortless. That comment might have seemed small to him, but to me, it was a massive moment of validation and encouragement. It reminds me that sometimes the smallest words of recognition can have the greatest impact. Drew’s talk is a reminder that leadership is for everyone, not just those in traditional positions of authority. We all have the ability to inspire, uplift, and leave a lasting mark on others, often with simple acts of kindness and authenticity. ✨ Who has created a lollipop moment for you? ✨ How can we bring more of these moments into our daily interactions? Let’s celebrate the everyday leaders in our lives who remind us that leadership is accessible to all of us, every day. 💡 ((excuse me while I send a note to Rod)) #Leadership #EverydayLeadership #Inspiration #Growth #TEDTalkInspiration #MondayMotivation
