As of the end of 2023, new research shows that nearly 97% of American workplaces remain highly susceptible to health and safety risks, with 8.7% facing particularly alarming levels of danger. This data highlights a truly critical need for improved risk management and safe work strategies. Despite growing advocacy for “zero risk,” only 3% of organizations in the US state that they feel adequately prepared to handle workplace HSE risks. While HSE preparedness varies greatly across different industries, there's a pressing call for more integrated solutions as well as what appears to be a cultural shift toward viewing worker safety as the investment in people that it should be, rather than simply mere compliance, which is essential for reducing workplace incidents and fostering a safer work environment for all. What does your company currently do to help improve operational safety and manage risks? #HSE #workersafety #workplacesafety #safetyculture #riskmanagement #competencyassurance #SkillSet #competence #safeworkoperations https://lnkd.in/ehnCu5jf
