Each of our tire plants is working on individual and company-wide solutions to achieve climate-neutral production by 2040 at the latest. And we truly walk the talk! We are generating more and more of our own #electricity thanks to the massive expansion of #photovoltaic systems. Our plant in Hefei, China, for example, has very recently doubled its photovoltaic capacity. It now generates a total of 28.5 MW of solar power - enough capacity to cover 20% of our Hefei’s plant overall electricity consumption!⚡ Hefei is also home to the region’s largest energy storage project, capable of holding 40 MWh of electricity.
