Constellation’s Post

During its recent refueling outage, Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center hosted participants from the Raising the Bar MC3 Pre-Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration between Allied Power, the Baltimore-DC Metro Building Trades Council and its nonprofit partner Construction Trades Workforce Initiative. On site for a full week, the group took advantage of multiple job shadowing opportunities, sat in on meetings and toured various areas of the plant. It’s always our pleasure to provide prospective tradespeople with a firsthand look at the potential career paths in energy.

Fantastic update. Great to see my former employer engaging young folks with the work opportunities in nuclear/clean energy!
