Conservation Corps North Carolina crews in action this #NationalParkWeek! 💪 Access to public lands matters—and thanks to the hard work of CCNC's NPS Saw Crew, parks across the Outer Banks are safer, more accessible, and ready to welcome visitors. Funded by the National Park Foundation, this crew spent their season completing vital projects from Ocracoke Island to Cape Hatteras and up to Nags Head—all with the goal of keeping trails open, campgrounds safe, and facilities visitor-ready. Their work included: 🪓 Removing hazard trees in campgrounds and along roadways 🪑 Building picnic tables for visitor centers and campgrounds 🏛️ Assisting with maintenance at visitor centers 🌿 Supporting safe and welcoming public spaces across the coast 📍 Pictured: Ocracoke Island Discovery Center & The Wright Brothers Memorial We’re proud of their service and the lasting impact they’ve made to ensure these iconic places remain open, accessible, and enjoyed by all. 💛 #NationalParkWeek #ConservationLegacy #CCNC #FindYourPark
