Climate and Health Alliance’s Post

Huge win! ⚡️ The Federal Government has just announced a $2.3 billion investment to make household batteries more accessible. That means households could save up to $1,459 a year on their power bills. We welcome this health promoting, climate resilient policy—but there’s still more to do. Millions of people—particularly renters, low-income households and apartment dwellers—continue to face barriers to clean, affordable energy. We know that with solar, batteries and home energy upgrades, families can save $3039 a year on their power bills. That’s why the Renew Australia For All Alliance has been calling for a $5 billion investment to support those who need it most. CAHA is a proud member of the Alliance! ✨ Let’s keep going—no one should miss out on cheaper, cleaner energy. ☀️🔋 #ClimateHealth
