Das Urteil des BVerfG ist eines der medienwirksamsten und meistdiskutierten Urteile zum Strafrecht der letzten Zeit. Das BVerfG sah sich mit der Frage konfrontiert, ob die Wiederaufnahme eines Strafverfahrens wegen Mordes gegen einen zuvor mit rechtskräftigem Urteil freigesprochenen Angeklagten aufgrund neu bekanntgewordener Beweise mit der Verfassung vereinbar ist. One of the difficulty in #DORA is that the definitions refers to other pieces of legislation. The advantage is that at least, lawyers won't have to fight over a definition that hasn't been copied the same way. At implementation level, it makes things a bit more complex for the average person to understand. Daniel took the time to 'extend' the definitions with their meaning in 'plain English' (well 'plain English' of another piece of legislation), and his work is awesome. So, at Data Protection City as I previously mentioned, there are many talents and this is a good example. Thanks Daniel for this fab piece of work.

I finally finished extracting most of the text referenced in the Definitions of DORA (EU Regulation 2554/ 2022). It's not quite complete, as some definitions would have required many pages from other laws, but at the end of the document I tried to list all the other EU laws referred by DORA (not only in the definitions), with links to official content. Later I would try to write some considerations on the (lack of) quality of these definitions, which I interpret as a huge lack of respect for readers (target audience) and a complete lack of professionalism (personal opinion, but I'll try to explain my arguments) Please feel free to use it as you wish, but taking into consideration the disclaimer, that this document holds no legal value whatsoever, being just an awareness personal work.
