What happens in a network-based society? I think that this intuition - that society, from neighbourhoods to States, can be organised in networks or in places - is really powerful to understand how we can restructure our models for community work. If services are held due to belonging or not to a certain network, it means that we create a local mechanism that includes/excludes people by similarity of values, social norms, lifestyles: which means that, seeking for social cohesion, we indeed create boundaries.
