  • Community Meetings: Proposed FEMA Flood Map Updates
  • What to Know:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is responsible for mapping our country’s flood risk as part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

On Nov. 26, 2024, FEMA issued new, draft or “preliminary” flood maps for Worcester. These preliminary maps are expected to supersede the current flood maps for the city in the summer of 2026 or 2027.
  • Meeting Information:

In-Person Meeting: Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m., Worcester Senior Center, 128 Providence St., Worcester, MA. Light refreshments and children’s activities will be provided.

Virtual Meeting: Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m., Zoom. Spanish interpretation available.
