At Wakefield Elementary in Sherman Independent School District, Site Coordinator Zoe is making sure students don’t go hungry when the school day ends. She’s seen here with food bags for a few of the 130 students—75 of whom are on her CIS caseload, ready to distribute. These bags are filled with ready-to-eat items that don't require cooking, ensuring students have access to nutritious food even when they’re not at school. Meeting students’ basic needs is essential. When kids are well-fed, they’re better able to focus in class, engage in learning, and take steps toward a brighter future. We're here to support the whole child—because every student deserves the chance to succeed. 💙 #AllInForKids #BeingPresentMatters #MentalHealthMatters
