Progressing from Front Desk to Administrative Supervisor Reflecting on my great six-year with Sahara Dubai, I can assert that the experiences I have gained have significantly influenced my professional development. Beginning my career as a Front Desk Associate, I never anticipated that I would eventually rise to the position of Administrative Supervisor. This journey not only advanced my career but also imparted essential life lessons regarding confidence, perspective, and resilience. The Initial Phase was to Embrace the Front Desk Position Upon joining Sahara DMCC, I was filled with both excitement and trepidation. The Front Desk position served as my gateway into the corporate realm, where first impressions hold great significance. It was within this dynamic environment that I learned to go on the flow of daily operations. Each interaction with clients and colleagues honed my communication abilities and enhanced my appreciation for exceptional customer service. My experience at the front desk underscored the value of confidence. Initially uncertain about my capabilities, I soon recognized that a warm smile and an inviting attitude could positively influence all interactions. Gradually, I developed a robust sense of self-assurance, which not only enabled me to thrive in my role but also established a solid foundation for my subsequent career progression. Identifying Opportunities in Adversity Every position presents its own set of challenges, and my tenure at the front desk was no different. Demanding days, high expectations, and the occasional difficult client could easily induce stress. Nevertheless, Sahara fostered an environment that promoted growth and learning. Rather than Giving in to stress, I learned to perceive it as a chance for personal and professional development. I began to adopt effective stress management techniques.
