We’re wrapping up the 3rd Edition of the Spring School on Social XR — an inspiring week full of knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and connection. A big thank you to all our participants and speakers for bringing energy, curiosity, and insight to the discussions 🙌 And of course, our sincere appreciation to the organizers of CWI's Distributed & Interactive Systems Group (DIS) | Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) group and TNO: Pablo César, Silvia Rossi, Irene Viola, Thomas Röggla and Omar Niamut together with Silke Kleinen for making this event such a success. Throughout the week, we explored cutting-edge research on privacy, social interaction, and quality evaluation in XR. Highlights included keynote talks by a.o. Katrien De Moor, Sun Joo (Grace) Ahn, Guo Freeman and Aljosa Smolic along with engaging workshops by a.o. Elmar Eisemann, lab visits, and interactive poster sessions. Outside the lecture halls, we made the most of the social events — from a scenic boat trip through the canals to a relaxed evening of jeu de boules. And let’s not forget: the spring weather perfectly matched the spirit of the SPRING School 🌸☀️. Until next time! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eSiUiB7H #SocialXR #SpringSchool2025 #XRResearch #AcademicCommunity #HumanComputerInteraction #ImmersiveTech
