This genuine intersection of healthcare and technology exemplifies what's possible when we prioritize patient needs in technological development. I want to congratulate the Centro Europeo de Neurociencias for their forward-thinking investment in digital therapeutics. Their commitment demonstrates that healthcare institutions can embrace innovation while maintaining focus on clinical outcomes. And a special acknowledgment to MindMaze and Patricia Barroso Rodríguez, whose work extends beyond technological development—they've created a continuous feedback loop with patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring their solutions address real needs and integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows. But the true protagonist, as should always be the case with health technologies, is the patient. Days like these reinforce what has guided me through my career: the potential to transform lives through thoughtful application of technology in healthcare. The cost-effectiveness of digital therapeutics cannot be overstated. Beyond improving clinical outcomes, they reduce the resource burden on healthcare systems while expanding care access. We're increasingly seeing how digital solutions can deliver sustainable value when designed with both clinical and economic considerations in mind. My hope is that these therapies become available to more patients regardless of location or circumstances. Digital therapeutics can bridge critical gaps in healthcare delivery, particularly for those with mobility limitations or in underserved areas—addressing the persistent challenge of healthcare inequity. For digital health solutions to achieve their full potential, we must follow evidence-based implementation practices: collaborative design with end-users, continuous improvement based on real-world outcomes, and seamless integration into existing care pathways. These principles have guided my work in healthcare innovation and strategy consulting. Let's advocate for these technologies to be implemented in national healthcare systems, following the lead of countries like France and Germany.
