Three superb career roles, at SpaceX. There'll be a number of you who're looking at this and thinking "I haven't got a clue how to make that happen", or worse, you'll have a supervisor or manager, maybe even family, that are expressing to you: what makes you think you can land a rocket booster? Years ago, during an interview in Canada, I was given a technical test to complete. Unbeknownst to me, I scored an A+. The company was an American firm, and my score came to the attention of Head office. Who contacted our CEO, Bruce, mentioning to him. "Once he passes probation, promote him to an Industrial Engineer, then, we want to see him, in America". My supervisor and manager, both, freaked out, as they felt that position and going to America, was for them. They hatched a plan and went to see our CEO to present the case that either one of them, should be going to head office. I happened to come in early that day, and heard most of the argument. They wanted to have me, answering phones, as I had an excellent telephone manner. Rather than continue to listen, I walked out. Within-a-week, I landed a superb career role, at another American company, in Canada. A number of years later, when that role came to an end, as the economy in Canada is a rollercoaster. Or perhaps, it's just very badly managed. I found that the career role that I had, was the only one of its kind. So, I started a business to think through my options. That business took off, and soon, people and businesses were throwing money at me, to solve their problems. Which yet again, led to American business owners in Canada, paying a lot of attention to me, and relaying to me, that I needed to go to America. So, I started looking for career roles in America, and was awestruck by the level of opportunities. You'll be asking, "Why would you look for a career role, when you had a successful business?". One, I didn't know the America market, and two, while working for a company, I could figure out what my market had troubles with. All, while being paid exceptionally well. Not to mention, acclimatizing to that level of work. Higher pay attracts higher work, not unlike the video above. Where you create what's never been done, before. While I've mentioned all of this, I haven't mentioned "freedom in your work", as I managed my days and created my career, reporting to CEOs and the C-suite. Your work is a representation of what you do; how many people are stuck on the lowest step of the ladder, based on what other people say. For that matter, how many people on are the top step, balancing, fearing nowhere else to step. No solid foundation to land on. This is why you have to manage your own career, and be diligent about performing in all categories of what that career entails. Getting involved in interconnected fields, and being bold in the manner of gaining that experience. You may not know how to land that rocket booster, now, but in a few years it can be child's play to you :}

A day in the life of an Installation Technician at TTK Surveillance can be quite busy and varied. They typically start their day by reviewing the job orders and determining the equipment and tools needed for the day's work. They then travel to the job site and begin the installation process. The first step is usually to survey the location and determine the best placement for the cameras and other equipment. They then install the equipment, run the necessary wiring, and connect the system. Once the installation is complete, the installer will test the system to verify that it is functioning properly. They will also provide training to the customer on how to use the system and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. They will assist the control room to connect the client to our system for monitoring. Our Installation technicians work in a variety of locations, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces. They need to have a good understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and networking to be successful in their job. Overall, a day in the life of our Installation Technicians is both challenging and rewarding. They play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of people and property. #cctvtechnician #installer #accesscontrol #alarmsystem #cctv #offsitemonitoring

🤣 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸? 👷 Well, I wouldn't call it like that. But as an maintenance electrician (or an "automation technician"), you might also be sometimes "the guy for everything". Such as taking Opossums out of your cabinets. 🤔 And something like this is happening (in my personal experience) more than some people might think. And from the perspective of an animal, that's just logical. 🔥 The socket of a control cabinet is relatively warm and (in particular) not often disturbed. Some cabinets are for sure not touched for several years, let alone have their sockets opened. 🔎 Unless, of course, you notice some issues - such as a fuse being constantly tripping. In such a case, you might certainly find some "surprises" there. 🧠 PS: Fun fact, we have some "safety contactors" in there. Red ones with fixed auxiliary contacts and no possibility for manual operation. Would be an interesting discussion, if the white "standard" ones are really necessarily worse in a technical sense and why... Credit: u/Matt92_pap, DM me for a specific attribution or removal

Here are some basic safety precautions to take when installing ground mounted solar panels: Lifting and moving: Use at least two people to lift each solar panel, and consider using a forklift. Avoid sitting on the panels, stepping on them, or applying too much pressure, as this can break them or cause injury. Don't drop anything on the panels, and be careful of falling objects. Wearing proper equipment: Wear electrical hazard-rated boots with compression-resistant toes, flame-resistant clothes, gloves, and safety glasses. Avoiding bad weather: Stop working in bad weather conditions. Keeping the area clean: Make sure the area under the panels is clean and clear of foreign objects. Ensuring electrical connections are secure: Check that the system is grounded correctly and that all wiring is securely insulated. Hiring a licensed electrician: Hire a qualified and licensed electrician to install and maintain the system. "Solar energy, clean energy for a better tomorrow" , So be a Part of the Solar Family.
