While others bury their head in the sand, I'm absolutely sending it. This weekend I'm holding a mouse race fundraiser, the "Super Mouse 500" and I have no idea how it's going to go. Owning a race team is a hellacious grind of generating new capital to "go have fun". It's a dream for many, but a struggle for every penny reality to very few. Because of the nature of powersports being a luxury hobby, it's often the first thing consumers scale back on when the wallet gets a little thinner. I'm starting this race season with a massively smaller budget than I did last year, which has created a lot of challenges to kick off our testing and development pre-season. I knew there would be reductions by many because of the current economic trend, then adding corporate restructuring to the mix leading to losing my largest financial partner (and now having to replace everything I have with their branding built in) - I easily could've said "Nah man, I'm out". Maybe I'm a fool, but at least I'm foolishly steadfast in my persistence. Instead of bowing out, I've decided to go head on with what I can control. I've rebranded my custom decal and sublimated gear company for a fresh relaunch October 1st, found new partners to develop with (and doubled down with our continued relationships), and went all in on a crowdsource fundraiser event being held this Saturday at a brewery in Olathe, KS. The Super Mouse 500 is a silly event where mice race from one end of a straight 10 foot track to the other, 6 wide drag race style. Folks attending the event can purchase $2 raffle style tickets to place value on a mouse, with gift card prizes to winners as the incentive to participate - in addition to helping the race team continue forward. Will people come? Will they spend cash? Will I cover my expenses in the event? These are all questions that I have a hopeful idea on. However it goes, I'll still have a feather in my cap of trying something that hasn't been done in our sport. I'll be able to say I didn't roll over and die without fighting tooth and nail. CREO will continue on, and the lessons learned of adapting with new (ridiculous) ideas will only provide my ability to deliver for my partners on an even gnarlier scale when powersports begins to boom again. But for now, I'm still clawing.

2025 is going to see a huge shift in Gen Z interests and here’s why… Since 2020 we have been seeing a steady rise in run clubs due to raised consciousness of health due to the global pandemic. People also just wanted to get outside and participate is some human connection, something that was missing for a long time. This 5KM easy run held by NSLB ( An active club from west London) in partnership with Nike is a great example of the power of positive community architecture. A few years ago you would have never imagined this many people meeting at South Kensington station and running to Nike Town where unreleased Nike shoes were raffled to participants. I love this shift as it’s truly making it cool to focus on self development in all areas of your life. We have had enough of the shallow attitude of just trying to look cool through overconsumption and showing off. I’m sure this caused a huge disruption in London but the message is clear… this is a protest against the superficial and another huge step towards the authentic. We have branded apparel solutions for summertime non-profit events. You could have like a new park dedication; you could have some type of event around summer holidays or you see a lot of outdoor concerts and those types of events. You have multiple parties involved or even sponsors. You see a lot of summer T-shirts with sponsorships on the back. There's a lot of coordination with whoever's involved. Typically, you see anywhere from 15 to 20 sponsors, that's 15 to 20 different logos. People don't just want the company name. People invest a lot of time in their brand. What is their brand? The logo. If they're supporting something, they want their brand conveyed the way it should be done, which is the logo. Getting access to those files that are print ready, or if they're not print ready, having our graphics team dive in and making those files print ready.
