🚨 Sharing My Experience: A Warning to Other Audi Consumers 🚨 I feel compelled to share my experience with Audi Wonderboom and Audi South Africa, and caution others to stay away. This is my story: In 2017, I purchased my second Audi Q5 from Audi Wonderboom. Over the years, I've bought more than six Audis, expecting excellent service from a brand I’ve been loyal to. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. After years of a noisy sunroof, which Audi Wonderboom attempted to repair multiple times, things took a turn for the worse on 22 July 2024. While driving, the sunroof wouldn’t close properly, and upon inspection, I found a plastic arm broken—with clear evidence of glue on both sides, showing it had been glued instead of properly replaced. This dishonest shortcut forced me to temporarily secure the sunroof with cable ties. I immediately sent proof to Paul Spruyt, the sales manager at Audi Wonderboom. Despite promises to resolve the issue, multiple follow-ups (19 August, 26 August, 10 September) went unanswered. Finally, on 19 September, Paul arranged for an inspection at Audi Somerset West. While they managed to close the sunroof, I was told it would cost R8246.08 to replace the deflector—despite the issue clearly being due to the dealership's prior negligence. To make matters worse, I had to pay R1408.75 for inspection fees just to get my car back. Paul has since ignored me completely. Audi South Africa also brushed off my concerns, accepting the dealership's denial of gluing the part—as if they’d admit to such dishonesty! This is unacceptable. I believe Audi should replace the sunroof at their own cost, refund the inspection fees, and take accountability for this mess. Loyal customers deserve better. ⚠️ To anyone considering purchasing or servicing their car at Audi Wonderboom or relying on Audi South Africa for support, think twice. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I hope it serves as a warning to others. #CustomerServiceFail #AudiWonderboom #AudiSouthAfrica #DisappointedCustomer #StayAway
