Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation’s Post

⭐ Meet Lauren Mackay, one of CABHI’s NextGen innovators!       Lauren has created Head First, a digital platform designed to support concussion recovery by streamlining communication between patients and healthcare providers, and helping to develop personalized recovery plans.       NextGen is an initiative supporting six post-secondary students and recent graduates from across Canada who are developing early-stage AgeTech solutions for older persons, people living with dementia, and their caregivers. It also offers support in areas such as skill and capacity building, innovation development and validation, and end-user feedback from CABHI’s Leap community.       Through NextGen, CABHI, powered by Baycrest, is working to transform the innovation ecosystem by providing early-career innovators with the tools, resources, and training they need to not only thrive, but make real-world impact on the lives of older persons.       Stay tuned for more NextGen innovator features in the coming weeks!       #nextgen #IdeatoImpact #healthyaging #earlystageinnovator #agetech #aginginplace      Dalhousie University | Centre for Women in Business
