I loved this interview with Karine Trioullier. There are plenty of gold nuggets for both recruiters and employees. My takeaways: - The old model of people having one unique career is out-dated and people can have multiple experiences over their career. - People will have different ways to earn a living and expectations on what earning a living looks like. - Life is not predictable so it is important for both business and employees to be flexible and be adaptable to change. - Loyalty is about contribution not longevity. - Gen Z will have up to 28 jobs in their lifetime and that we won’t have one dream job we will have many experiences to satisfy the market and our interests. - People need to shift their focus on what they can learn, not what they already know to be employable, efficient and fulfilled. - Focus on what problems you want to solve. - Intrinsic motivation will be more important than extrinsic motivation when it comes to success and a skill that needs developing. - Hire people for the outcome they produce, not their time. The future of work is full of opportunities for both companies and employees. It is time to break down the old ways of working. #wellnessinwork #newworkparadigm #nicolewallacecoach #careercoaching #mypurposefulcareer

Ladies and gentlemen, Today, I want to emphasize the vital role of recruitment and talent in organizational success. As professionals in this field, we're entrusted with identifying, nurturing, and retaining exceptional individuals who drive our organizations forward. Our task extends beyond filling positions; it's about fostering a culture where talent thrives. It's about embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and empowering every voice. In this competitive landscape, organizations must invest in talent, fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability. Employees, too, play a crucial role. My advice? Embrace opportunities for growth, seek mentors, and never stop learning. Your success fuels the success of the organization. When applying for your dream job, consider these tips: 1. Know Your Goals: Understand why the job is your dream and how it fits your career objectives. 2. Research: Learn about the company's culture and values deeply. 3. Highlight Passion: Show genuine enthusiasm for the role and company. 4. Customize Applications: Tailor your resume and cover letter to the job's specifics. 5. Network Smartly: Reach out to insiders for insights and connections. 6. Prepare Well: Practice interview questions and be ready to showcase your skills. 7. Be Confident: Believe in yourself and your abilities. 8. Stay Persistent: Keep applying and learning, even in the face of setbacks. Wishing you all great success and prosperity.

Recruiting can be filled with so many emotions, ups and downs. Everyone involved wants to win. You take people you never met and find them their dream job or help a client fulfill their project needs. Recently, my team received some very good comments from their client and candidate and felt the need to share. From a recent candidate: Having a trustworthy, professional intermediary to ground me and to advocate for both sides without emotion was incredibly valuable. Know that I appreciate you! From a recent client: “you are known by our team as an excellent recruiter and that you are the “main event”. To quote one of my collogues, "In a world where everyone has eyes on the prize, having eyes on the human is refreshing and notable!" This is what Hire Counsel is about. Keep grinding, stay professional and good things will come your way.
