"And without firefighters, who would save them in an emergency?" The debate was heating up until the judge stepped in. ⚖️ "Enough! No profession stands alone,” said the judge, continuing, “You each serve your community in your own way. Respect one another because together, you build the world." This educational drama, performed by our students, set the tone for an inspiring Career Day that ended up being a day of discovery, inspiration, and eye-opening conversations for the young girls at our boarding school in Benishangul Gumuz, Ethiopia. We also had a panel discussion, which was designed to give insightful information about the future careers of students. Bethel Tsegaye, Country Director at Pharo Foundation, led an engaging discussion featuring the following guests, whose presence made the day very unique. Kidus Asfaw– Founder and CEO of Kubik, Inc., shared his journey of innovation and entrepreneurship. Yeabsira G. Zewdie – Associate Director at MiDA Advisors, offering insights into leadership and higher education. Marina Ryabokon – A former finance professional, reflecting on career transitions and growth. The excitement didn’t end there! After the much-anticipated panel discussion, students had one-on-one sessions with invited professionals from diverse backgrounds such as medical doctors, lawyers, athletes, journalists, university lecturers, and even our panellists.
