The WI Maritime Museum is going through a large project and fundraiser to preserve the USS Cobia, the historic submarine docked at the museum. Like I have, many of you perhaps experienced a tour of the sub and had the chance to explore the interior. Pretty cool, right? Well, this year they are looking to dry dock the Cobia and complete preservation work so it is good for the next 25 years. Broadwind Heavy Fabrications right in Manitowoc partnered with the museum in the restoration of the permanent installation from the shipwreck Adriatic in Sturgeon Bay.
