It's great to see this investment in UC Berkeley. I do hope that there might be opportunities for other universities and colleges. I'm certainly proud of Broadcom!

Broadcom you've achieved so much already, keep soaring high!

R&D Engineer at Avago Technologies (retired)

I joined Broadcom when it was still known as HP Associates in Palo Alto in the 1970s. I remained with the company as it split from HP into Agilent and later split again into Avago under the leadership of Hock Tan until my retirement. It eventually became Broadcom and continued to grow into the great company it is today. During my time there, I developed and patterned the Microcap, which was the vision of Rich Ruby for FBAR filters. What an adventure. I am so happy to see how much it has grown. Its stock has soared ever since. It is gratifying to see the company make investment into the future of advanced technologies at UC Berkley with a $4 million donation.
