The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of an overall sales plan, marketing for trade segments, and local partnerships that drive awareness and demand for Universal Horror Unleashed (UHU). Focused on the Las Vegas market and partnership with Area15 to establish and maintain strong sales plans and incentive programs. Partners with key UDX Marketing & Sales departments to support cross-departmental planning to ensure alignment with all origins and segments in order to elevate the presence and positioning of UHU within the horror and Halloween market and all partner campaigns. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: + Develops strategic marketing and sales plans to drive local Las Vegas market initiatives for marketing campaigns, partnership with tenant owner Area15, sales and pricing optimization, evolving trade segment partnerships, and developing incentive programs. Implements sales initiatives that drive attendance, repeat visitation, special event buyouts, brand loyalty, and seasonal activations to showcase horror throughout the year. Champion voice of the consumer to ensure the understanding of guest needs and behaviors is at the center of special market strategies and programs. + Leads and partners collaboratively to develop strategic and comprehensive marketing communication plans ensuring there is a consistent and cohesive messaging strategy that aligns with overall objectives and goals. Identifies and implements initiatives that develop and strengthen positioning of UHU to drive interest to Area15 and increase revenues for new business model. Responsible for maintaining and evolving the UHU brand in partnership as a tenant, following all local marketing and sales requirements for ticket sales, discounts, and partnerships. + Collaborates by seeking and leveraging partner input in the development of strategic direction for UHU sales initiatives. Looking for the perfect employee for a marketing position? Here are three important questions I always ask candidates: 1. Have you ever invested your money in advertising? If a candidate has never invested his or her money in advertising, he or she will probably treat your money like playing chips. This question will help you understand how much he or she appreciates and understands the value of advertising campaigns. 2. What is the primary task you think we're hiring for? We don't just want an ad campaign exec, but someone who understands the strategic importance of each campaign to business growth - whether it's for immediate results or long-term development. 3. How will you measure your performance and what KPIs will you set for yourself? Forget about hours and clicks. We're interested in ROI and revenue growth. If a candidate doesn't talk about this, they don't understand the essence of the advertising function in a business. These three simple questions will help you find a marketer who not only knows how to create ads, but also knows how to maximize your profits.
