Repeated Salesforce issues are holding your team's capacity because the root cause is not addressed! It's futile to keep raising the height of a wall with a weak foundation. If your Salesforce org is having recurring issues and every time you think it is fixed it pops up again. then it's best to do a detailed analysis and find the root cause. If the Salesforce team is small, then repeated issues will slow down the velocity. Let's do this to find a permanent solution 👉 Find out the steps the user is taking which is causing the issue 👉 Document them and reproduce the issue in the latest copy sandbox 👉 When doing so, use the user setup the same as the actual user (the usual tendency is to use System Admin) 👉 Find the root cause and document it 👉 Based on the issue, determine if it is feasible to fix it or rebuild the solution (if the feature can be isolated, I would prefer to rebuild it) 👉 Add to the sprint and take it up as a hotfix if needed Don't let recurring issues consume your team's and your time. #Salesforce #SalesforceDevelopment

Salesforce is a game changer when it comes to making dissatisfied customers happy. Unless… You don’t have the right person making sure your call center has access to every customer’s data And that everyone on your team can see a log of every problem a customer’s had If your admin or developer is overwhelmed & has a backlog of tickets… It’s not just the people on your call center team who suffer. It’s your customers, too. Having Salesforce is an awesome start. But it’s only a start. You need the right people connecting all the dots & enabling every department to make the most of the software, too.
