Fraud attempts are getting more sophisticated, but the right safeguards make all the difference. Brex approval workflows helped catch this one for the Arcade team before it cost thousands—proof that strong processes matter.
This morning, I caught a scam that would have swindled us out of tens of thousands of dollars. Thankfully, we had a process setup in place via Brex for an approval workflow. I won't go too into detail about the specific scam, but someone successfully impersonated me and convinced the team that there was an invoice to be paid. This morning Brex alerted me to a large bill and I was able to decline the transaction after going through the specific invoice and seeing the fake email.
