Three months into the role, walk into the room for our general sales meeting for the very first time, probably 300 people in the room, I was the only female. Don't ever reject a cold call and don't ever be afraid to make a cold call. One of the greatest pieces of advice that I ever got from an old friend was just always show up. You could get there and not like it. You could get there and not be successful, but just go. If you don't go, you lose out automatically. You've got to give opportunities and throw them into the fire and see how they do because that sink or swim mentality oftentimes brings about the best in people. This industry is about passion, but it starts with resilience and resistance. You don't get what you don't ask for. Vegan sales, either your favorite cold call, opener, sales pitch, elevator pitch.
