TWENTY YEARS. Today marks 20 yrs since I took a leap and became an employee health & benefits advisor. To be a woman in a male dominated industry back then was a big deal to me, but I knew I could do it....I just needed to learn the business, and be me. I'm grateful to Kevin Pailet for taking a chance on me, and sticking with me through all of the ups and downs we've seen in this industry over that time. I've seen many more women step into this insurance advisor role during my tenure, and it is so exciting. Over the course of 20 years, I've changed and so has my life, for the better. I'm so thankful for the little family I've built and for the support I get each day to do my job. I'm also very appreciative of some really amazing colleagues and clients. It's true that when you have a fire and a passion for what you do, time flies. This business isn't easy, and someone asked me to describe myself with an adjective recently, and I said GRITTY. Today, I'm still as gritty as I was 20 years ago...maybe more! I'm looking forward to continuing to learn, evolve, grow and lead....and to climbing some more mountains! I couldn't think of a better company to work for in Marsh McLennan Agency. #grateful #20yearanniversary
