To optimize intralogistics, our excellent partner SPIE ESCAD Automation GmbH deployed a MiR250 fleet at Blum-Novotest, Inc. Equipped with the Shelf Carrier top module and connected to the building’s elevator system, the fleet handles 90% of transport tasks—from small load carriers to ½ Euro pallets. Some of the advantages of this automation: ◾ Elimination of travel and waiting times has freed up valuable employee capacity 🕒 ◾ 1,200 kilometers of travel have been saved 🚶♂️ ◾ The automated transport system has standardized logistics processes 🤖 ◾ Employees manage the robots, triggering them as needed, so the robots serve as tools that support—not replace—employee roles 🦾 Would you like to know about the full case story? 📦𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻🤖 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶? Almost weekly I am astounded by technological innovations, that once discovered seem so simple in their idea and almost impossible to believe nobody has thought of it before. Today's showcase is another such elegantly simple, yet technologically astounding innovation, in the form of the "Unit" by Filics. Imagine your classic Pallet Truck, you know the one, two forks that slide under the pallet, connected by a central bar and a manually operated hydraulic hand jack. 👷 Now remove the central connector and the hand jack, splitting apart and leaving behing two forks as individual 'Units'🟰. Now take these and fill them with the latest in laser navigation, omnidirectional drive, battery power and you're pretty much there with two compact, line shaped LGV's.
