Here’s another equity issue in philanthropy: Black households donate a higher share of their wealth than white households. Did you know that prevention is the most effective way to address human trafficking? Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, a UBS Optimus Foundation anti-trafficking grantee, is tackling the epidemic of human trafficking head on, working with philanthropic partners to build an effective and sustainable model that centers around prevention. The impact? 60% of drop-outs return to school, 5,400 children receive anti-trafficking education, and 195 teachers and community facilitators have received training.
