My name is Roman Reyhani. I'm a Product Principal with BCG X in the Chicago office. As a Product Principal, there are a number of things that we have to manage on a project. Specifically, we get called in to help develop, build and scale products and businesses on behalf of our corporate partners. For that, there are a number of dimensions, critically, the product piece itself, understanding what are customer needs and how we are solving those and ensuring we have product market fit for that business to be able to grow in scale over in the long term. In addition, we also need to ensure that we have a robust business case with go-to-market that is driving meaningful value for our corporate partners. And underpinning all of that, and something that often gets neglected, is what is the right structure and operating model to be able to ensure that this business will be able to stand for the longevity. One of the things we often help our clients think through is what is the people model that they need to be able to deploy in order to be able to build products and businesses that are leveraging AI. This is a really big challenge at the moment, given the fact that AI talent is in such high demand. Yet it's very hard to find talent that has years of experience developing anything in the GenAI space. So, one of the things that we work through with them is what is the right talent model? What is the employee value proposition that we need to be able to attract that type of talent? What are the talent profiles that we need? What is the culture that's required to get AI talent in? And ultimately, what is the compensation and incentive model that ensures that that talent is retained for the long term?
