Divine Criticism Versus Secular Jurisprudence: Criticism is mostly seen as offensive in modern America, even in the Global political environment. Whereas, it's not in some cases. Most critics identified as coming with some religious or secular undertones, which are benign criticism meant to guide the listeners, receivers or believers, and non-believers in spiritual guidance. However, political leaders have a duty and the obligation to listen to criticism and privately ask the "whys", the "how" and "what" is required of them for constructive dialogue and change. The clergies blessed with the mantle of leadership must imbibe the ethical standards of the incorruptible. They must be seen as exercising divine, ethical, and moral jurisprudence beyond reproach for they are held to the highest standards. While religious and secular political systems may differ, the two institutions are recognized by God. When Jesus was asked whether he should pay taxes, his reply was “Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar’s.” And he sent a disciple to pay the taxes due. God, the creator respects the free “Will and Sovereignty” of Humanity. It implies that any criticism must bear fruit that encourages, edifies, and charts the right ways forward, verse versa. 

Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on his enduring words: "We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.
