The partnership between Syngenta and Wake Forest Executive Education department offers golf course superintendents knowledge about topics beyond turf and course management. “What they also need – and what is not as readily available – is leadership development,” said Kerry Shronts, Executive Director of the Executive Education department at Wake Forest University School of Professional Studies. The Syngenta Business Institute seeks to change that. Kerry and the Executive Education department have worked with Syngenta since 2017 to put on this three-day annual program focused on helping superintendents gain invaluable leadership skills, from executive decision-making to work-life balance.
