Things we're celebrating today: Luminis Health, a nonprofit regional health system that's truly comitted to women's health. Not only do they offer Leva to women seeking first-line, effective treatment for urinary incontinence, they've also added it to their Epic system, making it easy for clinicians to get this treatment to women. On behalf of all of us at Axena Health, we celebrate your commitment to women's health. September is #urologyawarenessmonth, #perimenopauseawarenessmonth and #healthyagingmonth. Luminis Health is making all of them priorities. #womenshealthhero #nomoreleaks #urinaryincontinence #home #treatment #innovation

How do we change the narrative around stigmatizing language and mistreatment in the healthcare system and as it relates to the care of the birthing community? I am loving this new blog out by #notmywatch founder Rose L. Horton, MSM, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN. Read below to see what the 5 commitments the clinical team can adopt to change the narrative.

What better way to celebrate Women’s Health Month than by making women’s physical and mental health a priority? Data show that women have different levels of risk and health care needs, but unfortunately, gender bias remains in health care. Women have a higher risk of stroke than men do. And nearly 80% of people living in the United States with osteoporosis are women. As physicians, we can advance women’s health by focusing on prevention and care management, forming trusted relationships with our patients, and collaborating among care teams and specialties to expand services—efforts that are already ingrained in Permanente Medicine’s core values. #NWHM #WomensHealth

Meghan Rivera, Managing Director at Organon, participated in a panel for the Sago webinar, “Breaking the Silence on Women’s Health: From Perception to Truth.” Panelists emphasized that real impact begins with real talk, underscoring the need to transform misperceptions into constructive discussions. Hear the webinar: https://ogn.llc/6047YjXtf Let’s start conversations rooted in truth and amplify every woman’s voice in this essential dialogue.
