Life is cheap in Gaza - whether you’re a 19 year old young man trying to look after his family, a little girl who will never go to school or one of the 41,615 Palastinians killed in the year since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th last year. That’s 2% of the population of Gaza - most of whom were women and children according to the UN. Seven months prior to the Hamas action last year, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for a Palestinian village to be “erased”. This is the proof that this disgusting war is all about ethnic cleansing and obliterating the Palastinian people. Seven months before 1,139 Israeli people were killed in a Hamas attack that saw the first invasion by Hamas on Israeli soil since 1948 according to Wikipedia. At least 14 of those Israeli citizens were killed by Israeli Defence Force to stop them becoming hostages in something called the Hannibal Directive. Life is cheap in Gaza - because the Israeli forces don’t even value their own! How do the families of the 14 feel when they see hostages taken on that day released? Israel was a state born of Zionist terrorism. There is no doubt that European Jews were persecuted last century, but 56.47% of Palestine was signed over to create an Israeli state against the wishes of the people that lived there. This was always going to cause discontent - especially among displaced Palestinian families. We must place sanctions on Israel now! The UN has told them to stop. America want to keep selling weapons so will continue to fund the war with government money taken from their hard working citizens.
