Ok, I have shipped the first Beta release 🙏💪👨💻 🚀 BriefOps - Built with AI, Powered by Human Orchestration 🚀 —a Slack app integration for summarising channel Conversations/Documents(, all hosted-on #GoogleCloud & using #gemini Flash LLM. The plan is to create a Slack AI Agent with Channels/Document “context window” who could be interacted with as a true, private, sovereign AI assistant. Open Sourced. While I was focused on planning, orchestration & overall solution, the #GenAI code assistant(s) handled all the heavy lifting—proving that AI #automation can accelerate development without sacrificing creativity. I do believe I saved perhaps a week+ of 'legacy human' engineering, testing, validating efforts. I spend several evenings getting this project from the idea, to first public beta release. Slack has been found to be scraping customers’ messages and even file content to train AI/ML models – and has been doing it by default since at least October 2023. If you have Slack as part of your Tech stack it may be prudent to discuss with your Privacy/Compliance and Tech teams - in no particular order. One predicts we will see more of this.
