Well, they received some sort of training @mcrdparrisisland and this is the result. ❌There is a "common knowledge" that the harness sockets *must* have the same drop (measured distance) below the belt. That's not a thing at all, it's a myth. It doesn't matter where you learned it or that the guy who taught you had a bunch of stripes. It's a myth! ❌Next, it's also "common knowledge" that the national color must *always* be higher than other colors. That's a myth. It doesn't matter who told you it's a law and the penalty for breaking that law is death. It's a myth! ℹ️Colors are carried at the same level unless bearer height or waistline level is so different that the organizational must be carried *slightly* lower. Thanks Dr Shan Hussain for this powerful speech at LMC conference highlighting the hugely damaging impact of CQC inspections on GP practices. These are not measuring quality, but are a box ticking exercise using questionable parameters resulting in a discredited and unfair single word rating system, that is misleading patients and the public. The inspections are doing more harm than good, demoralising clinicians and staff and affecting their mental health, as well as diverting huge amount of time away from patient care into slavishly spending weeks ticking questionable and excessive bureaucratic tick boxes. These inspections need to stop and be replaced by a meaningful and supportive system focused on genuinely improving quality of care.

A couple of JROTC instructors sent this in. No rude comments from either, but maybe they "need more understanding" as I've been told recently. "Empower C3" AJROTC of the Jackson (GA) school system. I understand (see? It's working already) that the thinking here might be one last hoorah for the senior cadets, but I would like to make a suggestion. How about using freshman cadets? Those who are just starting out on their JROTC journey? The seniors could be assigned to educate and train a pool of volunteer yearlings and select the best from the pool to ensure a well rehearsed commencement day team with backup cadets and even a cordon. Senior cadets are supposed to be in various leadership positions, I can think of no better way to exercise what has been learned over the previous four years than training the next generation of cadets. The perfect marriage of an ending ceremony and a beginning for future ceremonies. You're out of standards. ❓Why are you not in uniform? That's a, requirement for colors. Maybe freshmen would be better. ❓Why two national colors? Actually, that's probably Nats and GA. ❓Why are the colors being held to the staffs? ❓Why two hands on the staffs? ❓Why are you shoulder-to-shoulder? ❓Why are you all not at Attention? 🔆Education is 🔑! . 🔹Read your manuals! Flag fold issue! You can bring the bottom edge up to half the top red stripe and horizontal part of the top row of stars, but if you don't constantly apply tension on those first two folds, you end up with the red stripe curving out when you begin the triangle folds. That's a problem! Here's how to fix it. Note! When you begin folding the flag, it is very inappropriate to unfold and start again or even to back up a couple of folds. Once you start, you need to finish and that's why you need to be fully aware of what you are doing. "Yeah, I know how to fold the flag" doesn't amount to a hill of refried beans if you are unable to spot issues and know how to fix them.
